Implementing Scrum

I am here to help guide you along our journey of Implementing Scrum. Together.

Are you starting, practicing, coaching, or leading while Implementing Scrum? Context matters.

My name is Michael Vizdos (creator of the Original Scrum Chicken and Pig Cartoons). Welcome.

Scrum Definition

“Scrum is a lightweight framework that helps people, teams and organizations generate value through adaptive solutions for complex problems.”

 Scrum Guide (2020)

Scrum has its roots in agile software and product development.

Today, Scrum and other agile techniques are being used at startups, commercial enterprises, non-profits, NGOs, schools (K thru 12+ Universities), and within government and military organizations internationally.

You can learn more about the origin of my Scrum Chicken and Pig Cartoons at cartoon_origin.mvizdos.com (since 2006).

You can listen to a FREE audiobook of the 2020 Scrum Guide at scrumguide.mvizdos.com, view the online interactive 2020 Scrum Guide at InteractiveScrumGuide.com, or watch the You Tube Playlist of each section of the 2020 Scrum Guide (sg20_playlist.mvizdos.com).

All three versions are authorized by the two founders of Scrum (Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherland) so it’s all legit!

About Implementing Scrum

Your understanding of Scrum depends on where you are on your journey of learning about this framework to develop and sustain complex products (or services).

  • Scrum is not just about the accountabilities, events, and artifacts. It’s more.

  • Scrum is not just about changing team practices. It’s more.

  • Scrum is not just an IT (Information Technology) or Software Development thing. It’s more.

  • Scrum is not just about product development. It’s more.
